William (Bo) Messick

William Kent (Bo) Messick, 60, passed away at Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS on Feb. 22, 2020. He was born on Oct. 23, 1959 in Lyons, KS he was the son of Jack Messick & Margaret Taylor Doll. He graduated from Chase High School in 1977 and worked as a truck driver. Bo was a lifetime Ellinwood and Raymond area resident.

Survivors include parents Jack & Lee Messick & Margaret Taylor Doll; children, Shawn Messick, Mackenzie Messick, and Randy Pray; siblings, Fred (Debbie) Messick and Cathy (Danny) Coon; nephews, Taylor, Brandon, Grayson; nieces, Jenessa, Caicy, Calie; grandchildren, Makynna, Molly, and Mylee; and the Eureka Man Cave Boys. Bo was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Pryce; step-father, John Doll; and son, Kent Messick.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 5:00 PM, Sat., Mar. 21st at the Raymond gym. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Ellinwood School/Community Library (Daulton’s Room) in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
