Vada Lucille Yarmer

Vada Lucille Yarmer, 89, passed away October 4, 2016, at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood, KS.

She was born October 19, 1926 in Great Bend, KS to John & Gertrude Mae (Huffman) Yarmer and was a lifetime resident of Ellinwood where she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the St. Joseph Church Altar Society, Daughters of Isabella, and the Heritage Club.  

Survivors include nephew, James Yarmer; niece, Teresa Johnson; great nephew, Robert Davidson; great niece, Sarah Yarmer. She is also survived by many loving friends & caregivers from her time spend at Woodhaven and she will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Norman, Billy Ray, and Jack Yarmer.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday October 10th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood with Father Terrance Klein presiding. Burial will follow at Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood. Visitation will be Sunday October 9 from 3-5 PM with a 3 pm Altar Society Rosary at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood.
