Roger Dannebohm Obituary

Ellinwood, KS

Roger was born to parents Donald & Wilma (Zimmerman) Dannebohm on November 6, 1953 at Ellinwood District Hospital where his mother worked for over 18 years. He was a frequent customer of EDH throughout the years who was grateful the hospital was still active and who thoroughly enjoyed the employees and the high level of care provided. He was jolly and friendly to all. Rog worked in the oilfield for Branson Trkg., AC Trucking, Rosel Company, Duke Company and Baker Tools. His last job was with Lakin Comanche Township where he operated a road grader. In addition to his great love of family, he loved NASCAR, Dale Jr. & going to the lake. 

Survivors include, wife, Jean Dannebohm & stepchildren, Tammy Esquibel, Liberal, KS & Grant Guss, Denver, CO. Other survivors include first wife, Bev Galyardt; children Ami Prieto (Alberto), Great Bend, KS, Brandon Dannebohm, Wichita, KS, Alicia Dannebohm, Great Bend, KS, & Keith Dannebohm, Hutchinson, KS; grandchildren, Kamden Dannebohm, Maleigha, Gabriela, & Josh Prieto, Austin & Maddison Amos, Jacob, Britain Heronemus, Kaleb Dannebohm; great-grandchildren, Caedon Leshore, Keghan Amos & Reighny Anderson; siblings, Steve (Patty), Sterling, KS and Cindy, Pratt, KS. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, & granddaughter, Caitlin Heronemus.  

There will be no services. Cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Ellinwood District Hospital in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526. Condolences may be posted at www.minnischapel.org
