I sat last night thinking of the past fishing and camping trips my family had with the 'Shorty' Dannebohm family. Trips the cattle sales with dad and Shorty. The time Shorty and Romona and mom and dad went out to eat and I had to baby sit two young 'wild' girls. The trip to Tuttle Creek Lake and while Shorty was in his camper in a state of undress and his camper doors flew open and everyone was laughing too hard to get up and close them. The stories of deer hunting trips to Colorado and Texas were endless between Shorty and Dad. 'Shorty' was a dear family friend who is going to be missed by all that had the please of knowing him. May he be sitting at the best fishing hole in heaven.
