Pauline (Blackburn) Coldwater

Pauline (Blackburn) Coldwater, age 93, of Ellinwood, KS passed away on May 5 th , 2020. Pauline was born
on August, 3 rd , 1926 in Cushing, OK to Thomas Jefferson Blackburn and Willie Mae (Lowe) Blackburn.
Pauline married Walter William Coldwater on March 10th, 1947, at Great Bend, KS. They were married
for 54 years until Walter’s death in 2001. Pauline was a life-long resident of Ellinwood as a homemaker.
Survivors include son, Danny Coldwater (Hutchinson); daughter, Connie Sue (Texas); daughter, Cathy
(Mike) Ruppe of Ellinwood; brothers, W.A. and Delma Blackburn and sister, Gerry Long all of Raymond.
Other survivors include 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by
her husband, Walter William Coldwater, daughter, Tonnie Diane, both parents, brothers Harold and Otis
Blackburn.
Due to current gathering restrictions a private family service will take place at Lakin-Commanche District
Cemetery in Ellinwood on Wednesday, May 6th. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes
