Patricia Ann (Hammersmith) Collins

Ellinwood, KS 
Patricia Ann (Hammersmith) Collins, 85, joined the angels in
heaven on December 6, 2024. Pat was born June 7, 1939, in
Russell, Kansas to parents Eugene and Thecla (Graf)
Hammersmith. She married William Collins in Topeka, Kansas on
November 23,1957, they later divorced. On September 10, 2010,
she married Leasial Orndoff in Winfield, Kansas. He passed away
on August 7, 2024.
Survivors include sons, William Collins, Jr., Roger (Bren) Collins;
daughters, Kelly Baker, Tracy (Mark) Menges, Patty Collins;
stepsons, Shawn Orndoff, James Orndoff; siblings, Eugene
(Sandi) Hammersmith, Kenneth (Mary) Hammersmith, and Terry
(Alice) Hammersmith. Other survivors include 12 beloved
grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and four great-great
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Steve
Hammersmith, Janice Wolfkill, and Barbara Guzman. 
A Celebration of Life for both Patricia and Leasial will take place
at 11:00 AM at Minnis Chapel on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Family and friends are invited to gather for lunch and share
memories at the American Legion in Ellinwood from 12:00 to 2:00
PM.
Private inurnment will take place at Lakin-Comanche Cemetery in
Ellinwood, Kansas at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorials
are suggested to the Ellinwood Food Bank in care of Minnis
Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
