Norman Johanning

Norman Johanning, 73, passed away at Senior Place Country Living in Ellinwood, KS on Mar. 11, 2021. Born on Apr. 29, 1947 in Great Bend, KS he was the son of George & Eleanor (Zecha) Johanning. Norman attended Sts. Peter & Paul grade school and later Ellinwood High School graduating in 1965. Norman was a lifetime Ellinwood resident where he worked as a farmer and rancher. He also worked 25 + years for Schremmer Auctions and loved antiques and auction hunting. Norman was a member/board member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church and member at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood. Norman was also a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus and supported the NRA.

Survivors include aunts, cousins, & a handful of good friends. Norman was preceded in death by his parents and numerous cousins

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am, Tues., Mar. 16 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church north of Ellinwood with Father Pascal Klein officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Mon., Mar. 15 at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood with Knights of Columbus rosary at 7 PM. Memorials are suggested to Sts. Peter & Paul Church in care of Minnis Chapel, Po Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
