Nolan E Starkey

 Nolan E. Starkey, 74, died at his home in Ellinwood, Ks on August 8^th 2014. Born on Jan 23, 1940 to Jesse & Doris (Graybell) Starkey. He was a lifetime resident of the Ellinwood area only leaving when his work as an electrician required it. He married Zona Allen on April 10^th in Chicago, IL.  Nolan served in the United States Army, was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the Masons, and the American Legion. 

Survivors include sons, Shawn Starkey and Jess Starkey; daughters Angela (David) Clawson and Mary (Frank) Feemster; grandchildren, Amber and Ty Clawson, Morgan and Christian Feemster, and Alyssa Starkey.

He was preceded in death by his wife Zona (Allen) Starkey; parents, Jesse & Doris Starkey; and daughter, Michelle Starkey  

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 am August 15, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Ellinwood with Rev. Janet Myers presiding. Burial will follow at Lakin- Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood. Memorials may be given to Central Care Cancer Center in care of Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood, KS 67526.
