Mildred Elaine Menges, 67, passed away at Ellinwood District Hospital in Ellinwood, KS on July 18th, 2022. Born Sept. 21, 1954 she was the daughter of Gerald and Geraldine A. (Bousser) Menges. A lifetime Ellinwood resident Mildred graduated from Ellinwood High in 1972. She later worked for Great Bend Manufacturing and Waxy’s. Mildred loved crafts, crocheting, and spending time with family was always a priority.  Memberships include St. Joseph Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include son, James (Jim) Blevins, Jr and wife JoAnn, Great Bend, KS; grandchildren, Josie and Wyatt Blevins, Great Bend, KS; mother, Geraldine A. Menges, Ellinwood, KS; sisters, Mary Tudor, Ellinwood, KS, Margaret Ferguson, Kinsley, KS, Melinda Adams, Leavenworth, KS, Michelle Jones, Wichita, KS; brothers, Mark Menges, Ellinwood, KS, Mitch Menges, Lyons, KS. Mildred was preceded in death by Father, Gerald Menges and brothers, Mike and Matt Menges.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM, Thurs., July 21 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood with Father Klein officiating. Interment will follow at Lakin-Comanche Cemetery, Ellinwood. Visitation will be 12-6 PM Wed., July 20 at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood with parish Rosary/Vigil that evening at 7 PM at St. Joseph Church. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS.
