Luis "Jim" Glynn

Great Bend, KS

Luis “Jim” Glynn, 87, passed away at South Central Medical Center in Arkansas City, KS on Nov. 13, 2020. Born in Chicago, IL on May 15, 1933 to his mother Grace (VanSteenburgh) Warnick, he was a 60 year resident of Great Bend formerly of Sedalia, MO.  Jim worked for the General Services Administration in Great Bend until his retirement.  In addition, he enjoyed photography which he practiced while a member of the Great Bend photography club. 

Survivors include sons, Robert (Jennifer) Glynn, Great Bend, KS and Donnie Glynn, Hudson, KS; daughter, Brenda (Rex) Johnston, Pratt, KS. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Garrett Glynn and Greg Glynn of Great Bend; Shane McGreevy and Kaci Lankard of Pratt; and 9 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his mother.
