Louis F. Wilson, 79, passed away in Lyons, KS on August 19th, 2020 at Rice Co. Memorial Hospital. Louis was born on May 8th, 1941 to parents Louis F. Sr. & Louise (Keith) Wilson. He graduated from Ellinwood High School in 1959. Louis married Terri (Cox) Carr and later divorced. He married Nancy Herman on August 30, 1980 in Raymond, KS. Louis enjoyed farming and ranching but previously worked for Doonan’s, City of Ellinwood, and owned Wilson Texaco in Ellinwood. Memberships include St. John Lutheran Church, Ellinwood EMS, and Ellinwood Fire Dept.

Survivors include wife, Nancy Wilson, Raymond, KS; daughter, Christy Rohr (Calvin) Ellsworth, KS; sister, Jo Kennedy (Larry), Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Brandon Rohr (Nikki), Brittany Rohr, Jacob Wilson (Sarah), Amanda Wyatt (Chris); great-grandchildren, Emery, Ryker, Braxton, Kohl, Greyson, Sean, and Hannah. He was preceded in death by infants, James and Jennifer; and son, Mike Wilson.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 22nd at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood with Pastor Tom Thierfelder officiating. Burial will follow at Hilltop Cemetery, Raymond, KS. Visitations will be Friday, August 21st from noon- 6 PM at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood.
