Jerrime Lee Steele

Jerrime Lee Steele, 43, passed away tragically on Nov. 4th, 2024 in Kansas City, KS at KU Medical Center. Born on July 13, 1981 in Great Bend, KS he was the son of Gerald Junior and Emily Laverne (Coe) Steele. Raised in Otis Bison Jerrime graduated from Otis Bison HS in 1999 and later Wyoming Technical College.  He married Cynthia Swope on June 16, 2012 in Zenda, KS. Jerrime was a mechanic, parts specialist, and manager at O' Reilly Auto Parts in Great Bend; he also worked at Autozone and Wells Furniture previously. Jerrime loved to collect/sharpen knives, and also enjoyed classic cartoons with his son. 
He leaves behind wife Cynthia Steele; son, Jerrime Dale Steele; mother,  Emily Steele; brother, Jayson Lee Steele; sister, Jennifer Lynn (James) Stevenson; in laws, Dale and Sharon Swope; grandparent, Gerald Lee Sr. Steele; nieces and nephews, Jayden, Jaxon, Kimberly, Layla Stevenson. Other survivors include several Aunts, Uncles and half Uncles. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by those closest to him. Jerrime was preceded in death by his father Gerald Junior Steele; grandparents, Dolores Steele and Janice and LeRoy Coe. 

Memorial service will be Saturday, November 16  2:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Otis, KS. Memorials are suggested towards family expenses in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526. Condolences may be left at www.minnischapel.org
