James N. ( Jim) Riemann

Jim Riemann, 80 passed away June 5, 2016 at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood, KS. He was born Nov. 30, 1935, in Claflin, KS to Neal A. Riemann and Lavelle (Mullenix) Riemann.

He married Rachel Elvera Serbin in 1968. Survivors include his wife Vera Riemann, Ellinwood, KS; son, James N. Riemann Jr. of Bismark, SD; daughters, Cheryl Mendenhall, Great Bend, KS and Carol Rowe, Heizer, KS; brother, Gerald C. and Shirley Riemann, Hutchinson, KS; sister, Beverly and Harold Stein, Decatur, IL. Other survivors include 4 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Roberta Riemann, Phyllis Riemann, Norma Price, Carol Hoden, and Wanda Kuhn. He chose to be cremated and cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service on June 30 at 10:00 am at Lakin-Comanche Cemetery in Ellinwood.
