Helen Dexter

 I. Helen Dexter, 87, passed away at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center on September 14, 2015.  Helen was born in Howard, KS on July 19, 1928 to Fred A. and Mary I. (Weidner) Cory. She married Jack L. Dexter on April 5^th, 1945 in Lyons, KS.  She worked as a caretaker and seamstress she was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and a friend to all.

She is survived by a son, Kevin (Marla) Dexter, Fremont, NE; a sister, Phyllis (Bob) Hembree, Ness City, KS; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; sons, Jack Jr. and James; daughters, Rosemary and Alice; and a sister Mae Larkin.

There will be a graveside service on Friday September 18^th at 10:00 am at Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood, KS with Fr. Terrance Klein presiding.   In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
