Harold Muller

Harold Muller,  age 81, passed away Dec. 13, 2013 at Good Samaritan Center in Lyons. He was born Nov. 22 1932 near Ellinwood, KS, the son of Fred and Viola (Brenn) Muller he was a lifetime resident of Ellinwood, a farmer and talented shopworker. He was very active in the community serving as a counselor for the FFA, a board member for Farm Bureau and the Township and was a member of the American Legion and the UCC Church. He also served in the Army during the Korean war. On June 5th 1955 he married Patsy D. Barry in Ellinwood. Survivors include, a son, David Muller, Ellinwood; a daughter, Diane and Mark Hockensmith, Inola, OK; a sister, Roberta Ahrens, Ellinwood and 4 grandchildren Jessica, Derek, Kirby, and Abby. He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy D. Muller, and parents Fred and Viola Muller. Church service will be 10:30am, Tue. Dec. 17th 2013 at the UCC Church, Ellinwood with Pastor Kasey Crosby presiding. Visitation will be 3- 8 pm Monday Dec. 16 with family present 5-7 at Minnis Chapel, Ellinwood.
