Glenn Herman Breford

Glenn H. Breford, 84, passed away November 12, 2016 at Ellinwood District Hospital in Ellinwood, KS. He was born August 11, 1932 in Wilson, KS to Herman John & Marie (Pfieffer) Breford. Glenn graduated from Holyrood High School in 1950 and later joined the US Army where he served his country from 1953-1955. He married Joan Stumps together they had 4 children. He later married Anna Maria Erdman on September 18, 1982 in Ellinwood. She passed away June 21, 2010. Glenn was an Ellinwood resident since 1981 formerly of the Holyrood area where he was the owner of Breford & Sons Construction Company. His memberships include St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the local American Legion. 
Survivors include son, Mark Breford (Terri), Holyrood; sister, Marilyn Kaiser, Claflin; step-grandsons, Kenny Stroede (Lauren), Great Bend and Jason Stroede (Kim), Holyrood.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Anna (Erdman) Breford.  
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Thursday November 17th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ellinwood with Father Terrance Klein presiding. Burial will follow at Lakin-Comanche Cemetery in Ellinwood. Visitation will be Wednesday November 16th from 1-6 pm at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood with family present from 5-6 with the Rosary/Vigil service starting that evening at 7 PM at the church.
