ElVera Riemann (Serbin) 1928 - 2020

ELLINWOOD — ElVera Riemann (Serbin), age 91, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020 at Woodhaven Nursing Home in Ellinwood, Kan. ElVera was born on Oct. 21, 1928 in Detroit, Mich. She was the daughter of Jacinto Serbin and Providence Riemann (Ponce).

Survivors include her son James Riemann (Leah); daughters Carol Rowe (Henry) and Cheryl Mendenhall; along with her brother Sal Serbin; grandchildren, Geraldine Beals, Kenneth Applebee, Lonnie Mendenhall; and eight great grandchildren. ElVera is preceded in death by her husband James Riemann; her parents; and five siblings.

There will be a memorial gathering at Lakin Comanche Cemetery in Ellinwood, Kan. on Friday, Oct. 9th at 1 p.m. Memorials are to be made out to “Geraldine Beals” to cover funeral expenses.
