He is survived by brothers, Clarence Burroughs and Dale Burroughs(Mildred); sister Connie Wickstrom (Larry); daughter Anita Burroughs; grandchildren Jeniffer Tirrell, Ryan Wamsley, Erica St. James, Drew St. James and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty; daughter, Sandra Wamlsey; son, Merle; grandaugher Nicole; sister, Leora Harrell; brother, Everett Burroughs. Services are Wed. Mar 19 at 11:00 am at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood, Ks with Pastor David Wesner officiating. Burial will follow at Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood, Ks. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society
