Dorothy Churchill

Dorothy Churchill, 90, passed away peacefully at Ellinwood District Hospital on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.  She was born in Caney, Kansas on September 20, 1927, to William and Pauline (Sterling) Barry.  She was united in marriage to Paul Churchill on April 11, 1947 in Great Bend, Kansas. After marriage, Dorothy started her lifelong career as a mother and homemaker.

Surviving members of the family include, her Children, Lonna Mead of Great Bend, KS and Kim Churchill (Char) of Ellinwood, KS; Daughter-In-Law, Carolyn Churchill; Sister, Betty Wenke of Hutchinson, KS; Brother, Patrick Barry of Germany; Grandchildren, Chad and Shelly Churchill, Julie and Patrick Nemec, Scott and Johnnie Mead, and Tamara Mead; 11  Great-Grandchildren; 5 Step Great-Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchilden.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; her Husband; Son, Buckland Churchill; Brother, Lonny Barry; Sister, Barbara Scheufler.
