Donnie Atteberry Obituary

Ellinwood, KS

Donnie L. Atteberry, 72, passed away on Sept. 5th, 2022. Born on July 15th, 1950 in Great Bend, KS he was the son of Murel & Virginia (Pulliman) Atteberry. A lifetime Barton County resident he graduated from Great Bend High school and later entered the oilfield. Donnie was an oilfield worker for many years before working as a greeter at Wal Mart where he was loved by many. He leaves behind wife of 40 years, Donna (Weatherman) Atteberry, Ellinwood, KS and grandchildren, Marissa Reynolds (Jason Reynolds) and many beloved great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dick Atteberry; and sisters, Vicki Kramer and Sharon Wilson.

Cremation has occurred and private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Great Bend Cemetery North. Memorials are suggested to help with funeral expenses in care of Minnis Chapel Po Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
