Donald Mark Oberle, Sr., age 66, passed away Aug. 11, 2014 at his home in Chase, KS.  He was born July 3, 1948 at Great Bend, KS, the son of George J. and Florentine L. (Kimpler) Oberle.  A lifelong resident of Chase, he was a Pipe-Liner in the petroleum industry. A Vietnam veteran of the US Army, he was a lifetime member of the VFW and had membership in the NRA. On Dec. 23, 2002 he married Debbie (Gilley) at Great Bend, KS, she survives of the home.  Other survivors include mother, Florentine (Kimpler) Oberle; 4 sons, Donald and Roy Oberle, Bushton, KS, Randy and Ricky Pray, Lyons, KS; 4 daughters, Cindy Brady, Chase, KS, Sheri Smith, Smolan, KS, Christina Travis, Salina, KS, Rachel Donovan, Ellinwood, KS; 4 brothers, Jim Oberle, Bushton, KS, Leon Oberle, Claflin, KS, Gerald and Tony Oberle, Chase, KS; a sister, Mary Harold, Chase, KS; 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by his father and a step-father, Tony Oberle.  Rosary service will be 3:00 PM, Wed. Aug. 13, 2014 at the funeral home with visitation to follow until 7PM. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM, Thurs. Aug. 14, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Warren Stecklein presiding.  Burial will follow in the St. Peter and Paul Cemetery North of Ellinwood, KS.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O.
