Dennis Cannon Sr.

Dennis “DC” Cannon Sr., 67, passed away in Ellinwood, KS on Apr. 12, 2021. He was born on Sept. 2nd, 1954 to parents Manford & Ruth (Borne) Cannon.

He was an Ellinwood area resident formerly of Hoisington and Great Bend. DC owned and managed Dc’s Auto Repair in Great Bend for over 20 years before moving to Ellinwood where he continuing working as a mechanic. He also worked for the local railroad company.

Survivors include sons, Manford Cannon, Richard Cannon, Dennis Cannon Jr., and David Cannon; and daughter, Lisa Rugan.  

Graveside service is scheduled 10:00 am, Wed., Apr. 21, 2021 at Hillcrest Cemetery north of Great Bend, KS. A reception will follow. Memorials are suggested to Golden Belt Humane Society in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
