Darwin Laray Bryant, 70, passed away on May  31st in Ellinwood, KS. Darwin was born in Ellinwood, KS on October 19, 1953 to parents Oliver Bryant Jr. & Patricia Joelene (Cossman) Bryant. A lifetime Ellinwood resident he graduated from Ellinwood High in 1971. Darwin was a diesel mechanic where he owned and managed a successful repair business south of Ellinwood. A gifted mechanic Darwin was a car and boat enthusiast and even had a boat that ran on diesel fuel. Growing up Darwin spent many weekends at Wilson Lake boating, waterskiing, knee boarding, and time with family.
Survivors include mother, Patricia Joelene Bryant; sons, Jason and wife Sara Bryant and Chad Bryant and fiancee Melissa; sister, Sandra Bryant; grandchildren, Kiley, Kaylee, Olivia, & Makynna Bryant and best little dog Budder. Darwin was preceded in death by his father Oliver Bryant Jr.

Memorial service will take place 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 8th at Ellinwood Community Church with Pastor Sam Ryan officiating. Inurnment will follow at Lakin-Comanche Cemetery in Ellinwood, KS.
