Bernice L. (Walters) King, 80, passed away at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood, KS on November 20, 2014.  She was born May 27, 1934 in Catherine, KS to Marcellus and Severina (Karlin) Walters. Bernice is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, LeRoy Walters, Dennis Walters, and Richard Walters. 

Survivors include sons, Michael Foraker, Derry, NH, Craig (Connie) Foraker, Excelsior Springs, MO; daughters, Lynnae (Lyle) Bryant, Ellinwood, KS, Shannon (Eric) Royer, Otis, KS; sisters, Rita (Frank) Stramel, Glen Elder, KS; grandchildren, Patrick & Kevin Foraker, Erik Warnken, Traci Brackbill, and Elizabeth Royer, as well as 9 great grand children. 

A graveside service is planned for Sat. November 22 at 1:30 P.M at St. Joseph Cemetery in Hays, KS. A visitation is scheduled from 1:00- 6:30 P.M. on November 21 at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood, KS. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Golden Belt Humane Society in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
