Barbara (Babs) Rae Eubank, 75 passed away June 23rd, 2015 at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood. Born Sept. 2, 1939, she was the daughter of Roy & Alice Sands of Newkirk OK. On November 9, 1955 she married John W. Roy Jr. in Medford, OK. During their marriage they moved from Oklahoma to Texas, and then to Russell, KS. They had two daughters Ramona, born Dec. 31, 1959 in Russell and Johnita, born June 1, 1967 in Great Bend. She married James Eubank July 12, 1969. They had one daughter, Jaimie, born March 4, 1971 in Ellinwood. 

Barbara worked as a homemaker and later worked at Marlette Homes. She was also a checker at Dillons for 9 years retiring in 2003. She loved being around people and enjoyed singing, dancing, fishing, camping, and working in her garden & flower beds. She was preceded in death by both parents and one sister, Ramona Vernon of Newkirk, OK.

She is survived by her husband, James of the home; Daughters Ramona (Curt) Farber, Ellinwood, KS, Johnita Becker, Hutchinson, KS, and Jaimie Wintholz, Salina, KS; three stepchildren, Christopher Eubank, Lawrence, KS, Craig Eubank, Del City, OK, and Kathryn (Jackie) Sudik, Del City, OK, Grandchildren, Heath Duntz (Wanita) St. John, KS, Jered Becker, Wichita, KS, Elizabeth and Evan Becker, Hutchinson, KS. Savannah Sullivan, Great Bend, KS, Stoughton Wintholz, Salina, KS; two Step-Granchildren, Logan (Patrice) Farber, St. Peters, MO, Meagan Barnett (Jacob) Great Bend, KS and 16 Gt. Grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend and will be missed by many.

Funeral service will be Sunday June 28 at 2:00 pm at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood with Pastor Rick Standlee officiating. There will be a visitation on Saturday June 27 from 3-8 pm at Minnis Chapel. Memorials are suggested to Woodhaven Care Center in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
