David and I are so sad to read of Allen's death. When I was in grade school at St Joseph's, Allen and all the rest of the neighborhood kids spent an entire summer playing cowboy and Indians on our front porch and yard. Our prayers are with you all.

We were saddened to hear of Allen's passing. We both have many fond memories of good times in Ellinwood with Allen. I (Carla) helped him pass some tests in General Science back in high school. I held my test paper so that he could see it. He always wanted to stay in my good graces for that reason. :-) Allen always had a smile on his face and a 'knowing' look in his eyes. When he looked me in the eye, I felt he could see my soul. We will miss Allen.
