Alexander Ray Thomas

Alexander Ray Thomas, 24, passed away on October 20, 2016 in rural Stafford County. Alex was born on November 22, 1991 in Great Bend, KS to Daniel Thomas & Sheryl Watts. He was a lifetime Ellinwood area resident where he graduated from high school in 2010 and worked as a farm hand in the area. His memberships include St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Future Farmers of America. He was a kind and generous man who made the best of every situation and loved to be on the farm or brightening the lives of family and friends.

 He is survived by his father, Daniel Thomas; mother, Sheryl Watts (Travis); sisters, Krystal Woodral (Jeff), Abigail Watts, Shay Lopez (Joel); grandparents, Robert & Margie Thomas & Bev & Rocky Bownes; nephews, Jacob & James Lopez; and a niece, Atilyn Woodral.

A memorial service is planned for 10:00 am Saturday October 29 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood with Father Terrance Klein presiding. Burial will follow at the Lutheran Cemetery in rual Rice County. There will be a Rosary/Vigil Service Friday October 28 at 7:00 pm at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood. Cremation has taken place.
