Alene L. (Feemster) Berger

ELLINWOOD – Alene L. Berger, 91, died September 24, 2015 at Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood.  Born July 8, 1924 at Rock, Kansas she was the daughter of Earl E. and Pearl Malinda Ford Feemster.  On June 15, 1946 she married Ernest V. Berger at Ellinwood.  He died October 8, 1984.  She is survived by her children: Linda Standlee of Wichita, Victor Berger of Orlando, FL and Robert Berger and his wife Michelle of Hudson.  Daughter-in-law: Trish Berger of Ellinwood.  Brothers: Gene Feemster, Art Feemster and Larry Feemster.  13 grandchildren.  21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son: Roger, sisters: Irene Kloefkoren-Lundgren and Gerry Bryant-Hellman, brothers: Alfonso and Ray.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 30 at Immanuel Church of Christ, Ellinwood with Pastor Jennifer Fair presiding.  The family requests casual dress.  Cremation has taken place.  There will be a private burial of the ashes at Lakin-Commanche Cemetery, Ellinwood.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, Pancreatic Cancer Research or Immanuel Church of Christ all in care of Minnis Chapel, 113 N. Main, Ellinwood, KS  67526.
