Nancy Sue Feist-Schissler (Liebl), 74, passed away on August 10, 2018 at her home outside of Claflin, KS. Born on April 12, 1944 in Great Bend, KS, she was the daughter of Ambrose and Magdalen Liebl (Luebbers). Nancy worked as a librarian and Elementary School secretary at USD 354 in Claflin, KS for 30 years. She married Anthony Leo Feist Jr. on August 23, 1963. He passed away in 1993. She later married Dwight (Jake) Schissler on August 16, 2010 in Claflin, KS. Memberships include Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Altar Society. She also donated her time as a Girl Scout Camp Director.
Survivors include husband Dwight Schissler of the home; sons, Steven (Lisa) Feist, Salina, KS, Ron (Angie) Feist, Eugene, OR; daughters, Carolyn Swigart, Great Bend, KS, Janice (Kevin) Leiker, Beaver, KS; step-daughter, Karen (Lanny) Black, Spring, TX; brother, Jim (Pam) Liebl, Ft. Collins, CO; sister, Mary Lou (Tom) Zink, Bayfield, CO; and 9 beloved grandchildren, Hannah Black, Elizabeth Swigart, Christin (Mason) Harwood, Louis Leiker, Kaleb Feist, William Feist, Zachary Feist, Jackson Feist, and Olivia Feist. She was preceded in death by first husband, Anthony Leo Feist Jr., brother, Jack Liebl; and daughter, Elizabeth Suzanne Feist.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Claflin, KS on Monday, August 13, 2018. Burial will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery north of Ellinwood, KS. Visitation will be Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 3-7 PM with family receiving friends from 5-7 PM with parish Rosary/Vigil at 7 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
