Larry Sheldon Obituary

Ellinwod, KS

Larry Sheldon, 73, passed away at his home in Ellinwood on April 3rd, 2018. Larry was born on August 16th, 1944 in Denver, CO to Harry Clyde & Wilma Agnes (Burrows) Sheldon. He graduated from Jefferson HS in Colorado. Mr. Sheldon worked as a Quality Control Inspector in Denver, CO for 17 years and was also active in the labor union. He later worked as an asphalt foreman for another 10 years retiring in 2005. He married Debbie Hoover in Grand County, CO on July 2nd, 1993. They lived in Arvada, CO until 2005 when they moved to Ellinwood, KS. Survivors include wife, Debbie Sheldon; sons, David (Charlonda) Wells & Orlie (Mary) Hoover; daughter, Terri (Adam) Ryne; sister, Donna Pardee; 9 grandchildren; & 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronny Sheldon; & son, Richard Wells.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will take place at a later date. Memorials are suggested to “Family Choice” in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
