David Myron Sauber

David M. Sauber, 61, passed away at Ellinwood District Hospital on October 19, 2018. Born on December 21, 1956 in Ellinwood, KS he was the son of Ambrose & Regina (Miller) Sauber. A lifetime Ellinwood area resident he graduated from Ellinwood High School in 1975.  David was a longtime employee at Great Bend Manufacturing. Memberships include St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ellinwood and the local Knights of Columbus. David loved the outdoors where he enjoyed time fishing, hunting, & riding his ATV.  

Survivors include sisters, Marcia Sauber, Ellinwood, KS & Colleen (Bob) Ward, Hutchinson, KS; daughter, Amanda Fields, Ellinwood, KS; grandchildren, Shadow Myers, William Fields Jr., Markus Fields, & Lucian Fields. Other survivors include nephews, Konan Hauser & Kory Hauser. 

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, October 23nd at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ellinwood, KS with Father Terrance Klein officiating. Burial will follow at Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood, KS. Visitation will be 1-7 PM, Monday, October 22nd with family present from 6-7 PM and parish Rosary/Vigil at 7 PM at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood, KS. Memorials are suggested to Saint Joseph's Catholic School Endowment Fund in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
