We give thanks to God that Charlie has been called home. Before Charlie died he once again listened to the story of the empty tomb on Easter Sunday morning, confessed his Christian faith and received the Lord's supper. He was assured of God's love and forgiveness. I asked Charlie if he was ready to heaven and his response was, "Im 88 years old, i'm tired and I want to go to heaven." It was an honor to know Charlie.
