Carolin "Sue" Meier

Carolin “Sue” Redding Meier, 77, passed away at Ellinwood District Hospital in Ellinwood, KS on February 23rd, 2018. Born in Lyons, KS on March 7th, 1940 she was the daughter of Glenn & Waneta (King) Redding. “Sue” was a lifetime Bushton, Claflin, & Ellinwood area resident. She married Lowell “Red” Meier on July 7th, 1957 in Bushton, KS. Her hobbies include sewing and fishing and her memberships included St. John’s Lutheran Church & the Odin Saddle Club.

Survivors include husband, Lowell "Red" Meier; son, Rick Meier; daughters, Christy Landis and Cheryl (Carl) Isern; sister, Connie Appel; brothers, Don & Dale Redding; grandchildren, Byron Wade (Betsy) Landis, Christopher Byron (Morgan) Isern, Courtney Jean (Samantha) Landis, Caylee Kathryn Isern, and Cody Landry Isern. Great grandchildren include Ni’Shaune, Koa’s Tyne, & A’lec Landis. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Byron Fay Meier.

Memorial service is scheduled for Friday March 2nd 11:00 AM at the Bushton Development Center in Bushton, KS with Rev. Thomas Thierfelder officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to Bushton Community Development Center Inc.
