Rosanna Rapp

Rosanna Rapp, formerly of Ellinwood, passed away at her home in Hemet, California on May 1, 2017. She was 92. Born to Fred Edler and Mary (Strobel) Edler in Oklahoma, Rosanna moved with her family to Kinsley, Kansas while she was still attending school. It was in Kinsley that she met, and later married, John Rapp on May 24, 1949. After marrying, John and Rosanna moved to Ellinwood, where they lived and were active members of the community for 65 years. Rosanna was a member of the Altar Society and the Daughters of Isabella organizations of St Joseph's Church for more than 40 years. She also enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, and working crossword puzzles. In 2014, John and Rosanna relocated to Hemet, California. Rosanna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John; her sisters Gertrude and Maryetta; and a grandson, Adam. She is survived by her daughters Marilyn Weber, Donna (Steve) Howell, and Lois (Neil) Bishop, and her sons Steven (Sheryl) Rapp, and Ron Rapp, as 
well as by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
